Refund Policy

When we can refund a payment, what cannot be refunded and how to ask. Last updated 28 October 2026.

Domain names

Domain name registrations, renewals and transfers are not refundable. Once a domain is registered, renewed or transferred, the registry fee has been paid and cannot be recovered.

Web hosting

If you ask within 7 days of paying for a new hosting plan, we refund the full amount you paid for the hosting. Any domain name or add-on bought in the same order follows its own rules on this page.

Other services

You can ask for a refund on our other services within 7 days of payment. We review each request, and whether we refund in full, in part or not at all depends on the service and how much of it has been used.

Requests made more than 7 days after payment are not eligible for any service.

What cannot be refunded

Besides domain names, the following are not refundable:

  • Third-party licences once they have been set up, such as Microsoft 365, SSL certificates, website security, website backups and VPN services.
  • Setup, installation and website design fees.
  • Renewals, once the new billing period has started.
  • Services on accounts suspended or terminated for breaking our Terms of Service or Terms of Use.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method through Paystack. How long the money takes to reach your card or bank account depends on your bank.

How to ask for a refund

Open a support ticket from your client area or email contact@golivenaija.com. Include the invoice number and the reason for the request. We will reply with our decision.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. Nothing in it affects any rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law.
